National League; Game 1; Kenosha defeated Burlington F/R in their first tournament game in five innings via the run rule 14-4. Kenosha scored in every inning except the second. The offense was led by Tanner Hurley (4 for 4) with an inside the park home run. Harice Hodges also 4for 4 with a triple. Jake Lampe was 3 for 4 with two doubles and Evan Callow added a pair of singles. Kenosha's pitching was outstanding, giving up only two hits (both coming in the first inning), walking five while striking out eight. Pitching for Kenosha was Tanner Hurley, Harice Hodges, Matt Kaufmann, and Justin Hill. Game 2; Oak Creek defeated Kenosha 11-1 in five innings. The lone run was scored in the first inning, Tanner Hurley singled (one of his two hits) stole second and third, and scored on Harice Hodges base hit. Justin Hill also had a hit for Kenosha. Game 3; Featured a match up of both Kenosha teams. Kenosha American had a 4-0 lead after three innings. Kenosha National came out swinging in the top of the fourth, scoring four runs in five hits (Tanner Miller's double was the big hit of the inning). Kenosha National completed their scoring with six runs on three hits, including Justin Hill's double, in the top of the sixth. Kenosha National offensive was led by Tanner Miller, Tanner Hurley, & Jake Lampe each had two hits. Justin Hill, Harice Hodges, & Justus Siltala each added hits. Pitchers, Matt Kaufmann & Justin Hill allowed four runs on two hits, two walks, and struck out seven. Game 4; Kenosha National topped South Milwaukee National 5-3 using good pitching and strong defense. Kenosha pitcher's, Tanner Hurley, Harice Hodges, Jack Chestnut, & Jake Lampe combined to give up only three hits while striking out six. Harice Hodges & Alex Kaufmann lead the offense with key hits driving in two runs each. Tanner Hurley scored twice, once after a triple and stealing home. Tanner Miller & Justin Hill each had a hit. Game 5; The heat and late games had taken its toll on the Kenosha National players and they were no match for the Lakeland National team. Lakeland scored 15 runs in the first two innings on just two hits. Kenosha was held to three hits; Tanner Hurley two and the other by Harice Hodges. The 20-5 defeat eliminated Kenosha National from the tournament. Tournament game game balls were awarded to Tanner Hurley for offense. He compiled a .692 batting average with two doubles, a triple, & a home run. The defensive award went to Evan Callow for his play behind the plate.
