GAME SUMMARY Wisconsin District 6 Little League Tournament American League; Game 1 vs Franklin National Defensive breakdowns and lack of timely hitting led to a 15-4 defeat. Offensively, Kyle Cable belted a three run opposite field home run. Kyle Schulz had two singles and scored two runs. Others who had base hits, Tyler Hedstrom, Josh Andrade, & Baylee Isenberg. Game 2 vs Burlington Kenosha was eliminated from the tournament due to lack of offense and mental and physical defensive breakdowns. Offensive highlights occurred in the third inning. Dan Larson led off with a walk. Andy Blank reached on a fielders choice and scored on Kyle Schulz's single. Kyle Cable then hit a towering two run home run closing the gap to 5-3. Burlington tallied nine more runs over the next two innings, making the final score 14-3. Josh Andrade had the only other hit for the American League National League: Game 1 vs Franklin American Franklin pitching dominated limiting Kenosha to two singles (Jake Kehl & Trevor Arnold) in a 10-0 victory. Evan Myers pitched very well for Kenosha but defensive breakdowns greatly assisted the Franklin offense. Game 2 vs Burlington A grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning gave Burlington an 8-5 win eliminating Kenosha from the tournament.
