22ND ANNUAL 'JUST SAY NO TO DRUGS' CHAMPIONS

9/10 YEAR OLD CHAMPIONSHIP GAME:

Schlax, Christensen, & Lee Insurance Agency won the championship game with a convincing 13-2 victory over the Bank of Kenosha. Joe Krebs led Schlax with three hits and five rbi's. He had a two run homerun in the first, a bases clearing triple in the second, and singled in the fourth. Jacob DeLabio had a two run triple in the second along with a two run double in the fourth. Other offensive contributors were, Brian Roach (two singles), Austin Wieher (single, two rbi's), and Jake Burden (double, two rbi's).

Schlax pitchers dominated the Bank of Kenosha recording seventeen of the eighteen outs by strikeouts. They also limited them to two singles by Aaron Ross and Hunter Kaden.

11/12 YEAR OLD CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

KFC held on to defeat VFW Post 1865 2-0. KFC scored in the first inning. Aaron Bakklia led the game off with a single. Jonathan Rimkus followed with a double, and Zack Dutter's singled (first of two) scored the run. The game remained scoreless until the sixth when KFC pushed across another run. Isaiah Doss led of with a base on balls. Max Prozanski followed with a single and Bakklia singled scoring Doss.

KFC pitcher, Zach Dutter, limited VFW to three singles. Michael Christensen, Brett Bernhardt, & Nicholas Zielinski each singled.
